New ?ref= codes show up for you to approve or ignore.

Filter by anything

Click a referrer, page, country or device and the whole page follows.

Count the visitors other tools miss

Ad blockers carry lists of analytics domains, and most tools are on them. Stickybeak runs from your own domain, so to the browser it's simply part of your site.

G'day, I'm MitchI make Stickybeak in Australia

I run 21 websites. Checking on them meant 21 tabs, and some of my visitors never showed up at all because their ad blocker ate the script.

So I built the thing I wanted:

  1. Every site on one screen, live, so I can see at a glance what's moving.
  2. Everyone counted, by running from each site's own domain.
  3. Revenue tied to where it came from, so I know what's worth doing.

It watches all of my sites today. Now I'm letting other people have a look.

Questions

Anything else, just ask when you sign up.

Does my site have to be on Cloudflare?

For the blocker-proof setup, yes, because the script runs on your own domain through Cloudflare. Sites hosted elsewhere can load it from Stickybeak instead. That works fine, it's just easier for blockers to spot.

How live is live?

Visits reach your screen as they happen. The minute-by-minute bars move while you watch, with no refresh.

Can I track revenue?

Yes. Send a goal with an amount and it's broken down by channel, campaign and affiliate, with the trail behind each order.

What about bots?

They're labelled and kept out of your visitor numbers, including the ones pretending to be ordinary Chrome. Crawlers that never run JavaScript come from Cloudflare's own data.

Does it use cookies?

One first-party cookie for the visitor and one for the session, on your own domain, so nobody is counted twice. Nothing is shared with anyone.

Can I leave my own visits out?

Yes. Run localStorage.setItem("stickybeak:ignore", "true") in your browser's console and that browser is never counted.

Go on, have a stickybeak.
